The Torck combines the technologies inspired by our highest performing paragliders which very often break world records, win important events all around the world and are in the most important podiums in Aerobatics events.

The Torck is a paraglider for experienced pilots. Its safety in this class makes possible to be used by the pilot that is changing to LTF 2-3 level.

It combines new profiles, a new layout and solutions to diminish the drag, what results in a low deformation in maximum velocities and an inherent stability.

Torck innovates due to several new features.

PERFORMANCE AND SAFETY TECHNOLOGY:

• HP - "High Pressure" :system of cells distribution with a reduction of 22% in the cells opening in comparison to a conventional project what results in a low deformation in maximum velocities and an inherent stability.

• HPAR - High Project Aspect Ratio: : higher aspect ( 5.1) and project ratio (6.6) – an ideal combination between surface and projected surface – minimizing drag and maximizing glide.

• FHT - Full Hybrid Technology: a hybrid utilization of 5 types of fabric – combining durability and resistance with less weight and low deformation.

• LT - Laser Technology: Molds cut with Laser equipment.

PILOT AND BEHAVIOR DURING THE FLIGHT

Torck was developed for pilots with some years of experience, used to performance paragliders, large distance flights, competitors and also for pilots who fly with intermediate equipment which acumulate experience in order to get their first performance paraglider.

Torck has an immediate response to commands and high stability which allow the pilot to enjoy at maximum the flight conditions. The advantages with the performance, pilotage and getting high in the thermals allowed a reduction in the canopy area giving a bigger stability and force during the flight.

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

It has a modern layout, a more detailed construction with 64 cells and a bigger wingspan when compared to its antecessor, which allow a total utilization of the profile performance without giving up the security and pilotage so much wanted in this project.

More efficient calculation were made and as result of this a flatter canopy was obtained. Diagonal lines in all cells reduce the amount of lines and help the accuracy of the whole set.

During the construction of Torck are used materials which allow to offer 300 hours and/or 3 years of Guaranty without loosing the equipment original characteristics.

SOL CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS:

• 64 cells, and 10 of them are closed;
• Diagonals bands (A, B, C e D) in all cells;
• Internal sewing;
• Trailing edge reinforced with Kevlar;
• New line layout with a 15% reduction in the consumption Mylar/Carbon reinforcements Direct conncetion system for brake lines.

The materials used were carefully chosen to guarantee a high durability and high security level. All SOL Paragliders are manufactered in our own factory, DHV certified.
